Help - Inventory: set storage requirements

After an item has been delivered to the laboratory, the system will email the user who made the order (ordered by user). This user should then login and set any storage requirements for that stock item. The ordered by user can either follow the link in the email or view their own/ laboratory inventory.

Step by Step Instructions

  • click on the lab/ PI inventory page, click set storage requirements next to the stock item.
    OR 
  • click the link in the email following a delivery notification
  • login, and you will be redirected to the set storage requirements page.

If the stock item does not have special storage requirements

  • click save


If the stock item does have special storage requirements

  • untick the no speical storage checkbox
  • tick each of the checkboxes next to the requirements
  • click the save button


The requirements will be stored, and the stock item record is completed.
