Risk Rating
Using the information gained from the assessment and taking into account the risk control measures in operation, determine the risk rating. Further information on determination of risk rating can be found in Appendix 1 of the guidance document Undertaking Risk Assessments available on the Safety, Health and Wellbeing website.
- enter values into the Severity and Likelihood boxes
- the Rating value will be calculated for you.
Rating ranges are shown below:
Very high: 20-25 Stop work immediately
High: 10-16 Improve risk controls within set timescale.
Medium: 4-9 Plan to improve risk controls
Low: 1-3 No further action
